EXITING THE MATRIX: MY JOURNEY INTO FARMING 🌱🐓
For a long time, I’ve been thinking about what it really means to live a healthier and more natural life.
I wanted to get closer to the land. I wanted to understand where my food comes from, eat fresh produce, and build something with my own hands rather than simply relying on a system that often keeps us disconnected from what sustains us.
So, I decided to start farming.
    It hasn’t been easy.
Building my chicken coop came with plenty of difficulties, setbacks and moments where I wondered if I would actually get it done. But I kept going. Eventually, I managed to finish it and bring home my chickens.
Today, I have close to 38 chickens. 🐓
And believe me, 38 chickens are a LOT to handle! 😂 But every day I’m learning something new. I’m learning how to care for them, how to manage the flock, how to build a sustainable system and, most importantly, how to be patient with the process.
Now I’m taking the next step: breeding.
My goal is to grow the flock naturally, learn more about breeding and eventually build a sustainable farming business around free-range chickens and eggs.
I want to raise chickens in an environment where they can move around, forage and eat a natural, varied diet. I believe there is value in knowing where your food comes from and putting more thought into what we feed our bodies.
    This isn’t just about chickens.
    It’s about self-reliance.
It’s about learning to produce something instead of always consuming.
It’s about getting my hands dirty, reconnecting with nature and creating a healthier way of living.
I’m still learning. I’m still figuring things out. There will be challenges, mistakes and plenty of lessons along the way.
But this is only the beginning.
From building the coop, to raising my first flock, to eventually producing free-range chicken and eggs, I’ll be sharing the entire journey.
    The successes.
    The struggles.
    The lessons.
    The growth.
This is my journey into farming.
This is my journey towards self-reliance.
This is me, exiting the matrix — one chicken at a time. 🌱🐓
Follow along and watch the farm grow.
