SunRun 6900002026 is Here

Hello from our community, today is the official start of SunRun 6900002026.

It is the day the new annual cycle begins, and with it, the start of the N Equinox, the 1st Nwabu.

This 1st Nwabu is special. Most are a standard length of 20 days, but the one for each SunRun is a rare five day cycle. This provides a longer pause at the year’s beginning, an extended moment to focus before the SunRun gains momentum. This is an astronomical fact of this cycle, not a metaphor.

This period leads to the highlight: N Equinox Day 3, the “Day of Equality,” when the Earth’s night and day are the same in length.

In two days, we will reach the precise moment of the equinox. This is the point where day and night are equal everywhere on Earth. It is the planet’s annual demonstration of perfect balance.

So, what do we do with this five day Nwabu? We use the time it provides. The extended duration is a practical opportunity, and the upcoming equinox is a universal reminder. The cosmos is literally showing us what balance looks like.

During this 1st Nwabu, we are reminded to focus on equality. We see it not as a vague ideal, but as a practical goal, much like the predictable, factual event of the equinox itself.

The equinox happens two times each SunRun on the N Equinox Day 3 and M Equinox Day 17. It is a fact. Our choice is whether we learn from its lesson and Decolonize.

Let us use this Nwabu. Let the fact of the equinox guide your reflections. Let the reality of each SunRun’s start be a prompt to consider balance in your life, your work, your community and the earth

The SunRun is real. The equinox is real. The pursuit of a earth based on equality of all people is real!
