The Damara, Herero, Kavango, Nama, Namibia, Ovambo, Ovahimba, San, and Topnaars (!Aonin) Peopleize Decolonize Communities Corridor represents a fundamental shift in how we think about agriculture, community, and survival. This is not farming as usualβ€”this is decolonizing agriculture by returning land, knowledge, and decision-making power to Namibia’s first peoples and the nation as a whole.

The corridor spans 33 km in width and 1,600 km in length, encompassing approximately 52,800 kmΒ²β€”roughly 6.4% of Namibia’s total land area. It runs from the /Ai-/Ais-Richtersveld Transfrontier Park in the south to the Hartmann Mountains in the north, behind the Namib Desert.

Each family is allocated 4 hectares (40,000 mΒ²), of which 1 hectare (10,000 mΒ²) is actively farmed. The remaining 3 hectares rest in a Seasonal rotation cycle.
